The Bonsai trees created from a prominent technique called “Kujiki Technique” (*), are valued both in and out of Japan. The Bonsai tree artisans express their image onto a living tree, which takes over 10 years. The unique beauty is a fruit of traditional techniques and culture, worth calling “masterpiece”. (*) “Kujiki”-A traditional technique in forming Bonsai trees that originated in Chiba. Instead of clipping natural grown trees to arrange their shapes, the artisans stick chisels into the branches to bend them. It is a technique to change the shape of trees intentionally.
